I can hear some people saying, “Of course I’m open minded, what are you talking about?”

Well, maybe you are… but having conversed with people from most walks of life from around the world, its has slowly become visible to me that open mindedness is highly over-stated. Although each ones level differs to the other, one can find (by sheer weight of numbers) the following types of “open minded” people:

Pretenders – These are closed minded people pretending to be open minded. They pretend quite well, but at vital moments their ignorance shows up through their words or actions. To these people being open minded is just a fashionable label.

Selectors - These are selectively open minded people, i.e, they’re only open minded about things which they want to be open minded about, and they’re closed minded in all other aspects — which they can’t admit to — cos it undermines the stability of being in denial.

Observers - These people form a very small percentage of the world. Observers never draw final conclusions about their beliefs, or give opinions, or disagree, or blindly accept anything without stepping back and observing various pieces of the puzzle — visible and not visible*. They are intuitively tuned-in to be able to look past the illusory facades. And when someone makes outrageous claims which challenge the mass’ perceptions, observers don’t discount these claims, but they step back and observe once again.

(*observers have refined senses which allow them to read between the lines & join the dots)

Intellects - These people fall between Selectors and Observers as they have a tendency to be quite rigid with certain views which they’ve cultivated. They do so because they are very intelligent and thus their egos get a bit bruised when they realise their views on certain topics are not as valid as they first thought. They lack the level of objectivity which observers have. But when presented with enough relevant information, they will open themselves up to look beyond their current views.

1) Global Financial Crash
2) Disease & Hunger
3) Terrorism
4) Religion
5) Global Warming

Oh wow, why didn’t I think of that?!
Its a pretty sad situation when TV documentaries, newspaper articles, and expert institutional opinions, seem to be the only mediums through which “intelligent” people make up their mind about reality of the world. They never seem to be interested in educating themselves about what might be pulling the strings behind this mainstream illusion. I wonder, before blindly mentioning the above 5 problems, if intelligent people bother to track back through the timeline, to find where these problems originate.

If one was ever so proud of their “intelligence”, wouldn’t they atleast ask the following questions:

• Are the above mentioned problems connected to each other?
• Do these problems actually benefit some people, or groups, in a substantial way?
• Can mass media be utilized to propagate “manufactured” problems?
• To what extent are these problems a genuine threat to our existance, and to what extent are they just fear tactics?
• How does my lack of knowledge about the most relevant problems in the world, affect my everyday life?
• Is it possible… that the world I see, is a lot stranger than I’ve been led to believe…?

Long story short, the world is in shambles today not because of the ignorance among the simpletons of this world, but because of the ignorance among the “intelligent” people of this world.

Once you ask the relevant questions to yourself, and get your head around these mid-levels, you open the doors to the next stage. Here you find a world where rationality (alone) can no longer help you move forward. And thats the level in ‘this game’ where the ‘real deceit’ is taking place.

So, am I being cryptic?
Hardly; it all depends on what platform of ‘awareness’ one is reading this post from. Most people (honest/ intelligent) are attempting to solve world problems by chopping at the branches, while the roots keep spreading out wider (aaha! now we seem to be getting somewhere). But since the roots are not visible, it involves exploring a level of truth that might repel even an ‘open’ mind*.

Yet you have to learn to walk before you can run…

So begin with the rational mind, and enjoy the ride as far as it can take you, cos when you’ve (finally) used up your ability to rationalize a situation, its time you give your intuition an opportunity to help you.

Create a Problem - The concept of Global warming is constantly reinforced through “repetitive” suggestion.

Get a Reaction - Masses now fear for the safety of the earth, and are handed a sense of guilt.

Provide a Solution - Governments, Corporations, International bodies unite and push the masses in the direction of a “green revolution” (where Biofuels and carbon taxes will save the world from impending destruction!)

So, this green industry is backed by governments & multinational corporations because they care about the earth and its inhabitants?? Well, If you’re naïve enough to believe that then I’m sorry to say that pigs can fly too! On the other hand, I wonder if billions of dollars which are now to be collected in carbon taxes, and global monopoly of food industry has got something to do with it…

I’d like you to find out, if in the last 10 years more people have died from so called terrorist attacks, or have more people taken their own lives in everyday circumstances (suicides).

But why do people end their own lives? Cos they lose their dignity. Why does this happen? Cos they do not understand what is going on within them, and the system around them tries to numb them into submission.

Now how much money had been spent  on mock fighting terror in the last 10 yrs, as opposed to sorting out the systems very basic issues — human dignity? Oh, I just heard someone say that by fighting terror we have prevented further terror…

Hmmm… let me ask you a question: Do we, as a species, live in more fear today than we did 10 yrs ago?

Besides, these parameters are something a bunch of tea-sipping round tablers came up with — which by the order of the institution — I am expected to follow. Personally, this kind of expectation is cringe worthy. I’m sure the poetic style of a certain EE Cummings gave the language-snobs nose bleeds too.

I wonder if this makes his poetry any worthy to read?

Absolutely!

Westernising is forcibly infiltrating another culture with western ways of food, music, speech and clothing.

No matter what level of intelligence or awareness you possess, there is still the possibility of you being misled in todays world. You might have great awareness about certain areas in your life but in other areas you might be naive as anyone else. Take a bunch of words which mean different things, and start using these words interchangeably in the same paragraph. As you keep reinforcing this paragraph to an audience over a period of time, you’ll notice that they start to believe the bunch of words are connected to each other (and mean the same thing…)

The words I have for you are as follows: Global warming, CO2 emission, Climate change, Bio fuels, Greenhouse gases, Pollution, Green industry, Carbon taxes, Ozone layer, Melting poles.

Now, I’m quite certain that you’re familiar with the mainstream side of this story; with this being a pre-requisite, let us look at some alternate views and facts.

John Hutchisons apartment was raided at gunpoint by Canadian Police in March 2000; Hutchison was handcuffed and placed on the outside steps while police searched the apartment for firearms. No warrant was claimed or shown at any time. Some non-uniformed officials were also present at this raid to photograph stuff in his house (or his lab), and this raid had followed closely on the heels of a successful levitation experiment performed in late 1999.

His first laboratory had been forcibly seized by the Canadian Government in 1990 by the direct order of former Canadian Prime Minister, while John was away from the country. A previous raid had also occurred on John Hutchison’s apartment involving his collection of antique firearms in 1978, and the processing of these antiques took two years. The confiscated antiques were eventually returned back to John at the order of the Judge.

I can hear some people saying, “Of course I’m open minded, what are you talking about?”

Well, maybe you are… but having conversed with people from most walks of life from around the world, its has slowly become visible to me that open mindedness is highly over-stated. Although each ones level differs to the other, one can find (by sheer weight of numbers) the following types of “open minded” people:

Pretenders – These are closed minded people pretending to be open minded. They pretend quite well, but at vital moments their ignorance shows up through their words or actions. To these people being open minded is just a fashionable label.

Selectors - These are selectively open minded people, i.e, they’re only open minded about things which they want to be open minded about, and they’re closed minded in all other aspects — which they can’t admit to — cos it undermines the stability of being in denial.

Observers - These people form a very small percentage of the world. Observers never draw final conclusions about their beliefs, or give opinions, or disagree, or blindly accept anything without stepping back and observing various pieces of the puzzle — visible and not visible*. They are intuitively tuned-in to be able to look past the illusory facades. And when someone makes outrageous claims which challenge the mass’ perceptions, observers don’t discount these claims, but they step back and observe once again.

(*observers have refined senses, as they can read between the lines & join the dots)

Intellects - These people fall between Selectors and Observers as they have a tendency to be quite rigid with certain views which they’ve cultivated. They do so because they are very intelligent and thus their egos get a bit bruised when they realise their views on certain topics are not as valid as they first thought. They lack the level of objectivity which observers have. But when presented with enough relevant information, they will open themselves up to look beyond their current views.
